Nature on Mallorca is as diverse as it is unique. That's why we attach great importance to environmental protection.
And to keep camping so unique and special, please help us to minimise your ecological footprint.
Here are the most important tips for you:
Nature conservation areas
In nature reserves, parking is only permitted in official car parks along hiking trails or nature parks. Overnight stays are strictly prohibited. There are special car parks for campers outside the nature reserves.
The police and nature conservation authorities regularly carry out checks and impose heavy fines.
Barbecues
As in many other Mediterranean countries, this is strictly forbidden due to the high risk of forest fires. However, there are over 40 official picnic areas, the so-called areas creativas. Half of these have fire pits with permanently installed barbecues.
Barbecues are generally permitted in these areas until the beginning of May. Barbecues are not permitted during the forest fire season from 1 May to 15 October.
Showers
Our campers are equipped with a complete bathroom and can be used for showering without any problems. Please do not dispose of grey water illegally in the open air, but only at disposal stations. However, there are only a few facilities for disposing of grey water on Mallorca. It is therefore worth asking at the car wash. Some car washes offer special drainage facilities for motorhomes.
When using the outdoor shower, please ensure that you only use biodegradable products and reduce the quantity if necessary.
Waste disposal
Waste must be taken away and disposed of in official waste containers. The numerous waste disposal points are known as Puntos Verdes or Puntos Limpios.
Help the Mallorcans to keep the island clean and take the rubbish from the previous person with you and do something good!
